VANCOUVER -- Get ready to raise a brew for Becks.
With only the date to be announced, the Vancouver Whitecaps will disclose at a news conference today they have reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Galaxy for an exhibition soccer game at BC Place Stadium this year -- the star attraction being world-renowned midfielder David Beckham.
Universally known as "Becks," Beckham is expected to join Major League Soccer's Galaxy sometime in July after his contract expires June 30 with Spanish Premier League club Real Madrid.

David Beckham returned to training with Real Madrid on Tuesday. After a a month to the day since he strained a ligament in his right knee. It was in a home game against Getafe. The former England captain has missed the last four matches - three in La Liga and the Champions League’s last 16 second leg against Bayern Munich. He also lost the chance of an England recall.
He is likely to start the game against Osasuna as Real's Spanish international midfielder Guti is suspended after being sent off in their 2-1 away win against Celta de Vigo on last Sunday. Real are now unbeaten in seven league matches and lie third in the title race, five points behind the League leaders Barcelona.
Acording to German paper Bild, former Real Madrid middelfielder Zinedine Zidane could follow ex-teammate David Beckham to LA Galaxy.
Bild says Adidas, which have both players on their books, is in talks with Galaxy officials about sponsoring a deal for Zidane to come out of retirement and play alongside Beckham.
Well... knowing Bild it´s much better to think this is not true.
